📚 TSC: Teacher Transfer Process Tutorial
The Commission undertakes teacher transfers to ensure equitable distribution and optimal utilization of teaching resources. This tutorial will guide you through the entire process.
🏢 Transfer Committees
Transfers are handled by specific committees depending on the scope:
County Transfer Committee
Handles transfers within a county
Regional Transfer Committee
Manages transfers within a region
TSC Headquarters Transfer Committee
Oversees inter-regional transfers
📋 Transfer Guidelines
Teachers must submit a complete online application through their head of institution
Transfers are granted based on availability of a vacancy and suitable replacement
Transfers are generally conducted during school holidays
✅ Approved Transfer Requirements
- 📄 Transfer letter
- 📤 Release letter from the current head of institution
- ⏱️ Head of institution must release the teacher within stipulated time
- 🚪 Exit teacher through the posting, entry/exit portal
- 📥 Receiving head must submit online entry report immediately
Note: The Commission has discretion to transfer a teacher whether or not the teacher applies, or decline to transfer a teacher upon application.

Once submitted, track your transfer application status online:
Acknowledged Transfer request is under review, pending availability of replacement or vacancy
Not Approved Transfer cannot be processed due to unavailability of vacancy or suitable replacement
Approved Transfer has been authorized
🔄 Appeal Process
- ⏳ Teachers may submit appeals within 7 days of the transfer date
- 📨 Appeals can be submitted to County Director, Regional Director, or Director-Staffing
- ⚠️ Even when appealing, teachers must report to the new school while awaiting final decision
